Acknowledgement of Country
We pay respects to the Dharawhal people on whose land we meet today. We think of the many meals they shared, and the abundance of the food and water which was found and organised on their land. We pay respect to elders past and present and to any sharing with us today.

OFFERTORY PRAYER
The idiom “Bring to the table” meaning is to do something that will benefit others. If you bring something to the table, you make a contribution or an offer in a discussion or negotiation. It typically means to contribute or supply a valuable ability or quality to a joint work, activity, or attempt.
So what are we bringing to the Lord’s table this morning?
We offer our gifts to God, as the young boy offered his loaves and fish. Take and use it for your glory and for the good of people here and in the wider community. By your grace accept these gifts and transform them to serve others. May we be good stewards and distribute wisely.

The Lord’s Prayer together
Eternal Spirit, Earth-maker, Pain bearer, Life-giver,
Source of all that is and that shall be,

Invitation
Lord, we come to your table, trusting in your mercy and not in any goodness of our own. We are not worthy even to gather up the crumbs under your table, but it is your nature always to have mercy, and on that we depend. So feed us with the body and blood of Jesus Christ, your Son, that we may forever live in him and he in us. Amen.
The Lord be with you.

We lift them to the Lord.
Let us give thanks to the Lord our God.
It is right to give our thanks and praise.

The minister takes the bread and breaks it in full view of the people, in silence or saying:

The minister lifts the cup in full view of the people, in silence or saying:
Christ is the cup of life, who revives the faint-hearted.
The minister holds out the bread and the cup to the people and says:
Let us receive what we are; let us become what we receive.

Prayer after Communion
Father of all, we give you thanks and praise, that when we were still far off you met us in your Son and brought us home. Dying and living, he declared your love, gave us grace, and opened the gate of glory. May we who share Christ’s body live his risen life; we who drink his cup bring life to others; we whom the Spirit lights give light to the world. Keep us firm in the hope you have set before us, so we and all your children shall be free, and the whole earth live to praise your name; through Christ our Lord. Amen. (ASB 1980)
BLESSING & BENEDICTION
Go forth into the world in peace;
be of good courage;
hold fast that which is good;
