Are your children displaying strong emotions? Do you find it hard to help them when they are having big feelings?

This community education session is designed to help them understand and manage anxiety and other big emotions in primary-school-aged children. Your presenter is Kerry Moss, an author and educator at Hopefield, Chaplain in a primary school and facilitator of a variety of parenting programs.

Kerry will draw from many years of experience to present this community education session, exploring the physical, emotional and relational effects of anxiety on children and families and offer strategies for supporting children through anxious moments. This talk will also highlight the effects of recent events, such as COVID-19 on child and family wellbeing.

This is a repeat session of those offered in 2019 and 2020 by our church community together with Hopefield, updated with material developed during and since Covid. If you found a previous seminar helpful, you may confidently recommend this one to your friends.
