You may watch the service that was broadcast by Common Grace on 25th January here, and share it with family and friends.

We held a discussion afterward online with a message from Brooke Prentis, CEO of Common Grace, then some time where we shared our thoughts and feelings on the service, held a shared discussion, and a short time of prayer as we sought to grow our understanding, remembering the past and finding a way forward together.

You can read a reflection on the service on the Common Grace website here.

The annual ‘Change the Heart‘ service id held on the evening of 25th January at 7.30pm. The service is written and led by Aboriginal Christians under the leadership of Aunty Jean Phillips.

Common Grace write on their website: “January 26th is a difficult time for many people across these lands now called Australia. Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples are feeling many emotions and are hurting, grieving, mourning, and commemorating survival on this day. That’s why gathering together to listen and learn and pray for a nation built on truth, justice, love and hope is so important.”
