Is Your Child Heading Back to School?

Are your child’s uniforms too big/long or in need of mending? The Eco Stitch n Sew Hub is here to help parents prepare their children’s school uniforms for the new year.

What We Offer

  • Sewing support for all types of school uniforms, including shorts, trousers, skirts and dresses
  • Alterations such as adjusting hems, fixing buttons, inserting elastic waists, and mending tears
  • Opportunities to reduce textile waste while gaining valuable sewing skills

Our Services Include

  • Personalised sewing instructions, backed by years of experience in making, mending and hemming for families
  • Access to sewing machines, overlockers and all necessary sewing supplies
  • A friendly and supportive environment for learning and collaboration

What to Bring

  • The school uniforms you wish to alter or mend
  • The child who will wear the altered uniform, to ensure a perfect fit!

  • Thursday, 22/01/2026: 3pm – 6pm
  • Saturday, 24/01/2026: 10am – 1pm **NEW SESSION ADDED DUE TO POPULAR DEMAND**
  • Thursday, 29/01/2026: 3pm – 6pm
  • Saturday, 31/01/2026: 10am – 1pm
