During the year our Social Group meets every Wednesday at 10am or at 12pm at various venues. The activities of the group varies depending on the week and the venue.
During each month we meet as follows:-
- On the first Wednesday at Lorenzini’s Café in Engadine Square for morning coffee;
- On the second Wednesday in the church hall for various activities;
- On the third Wednesday for lunch at Engadine Bowls Club;
- On the fourth Wednesday in the church hall; and
- If there is a fifth Wednesday we meet for lunch at a location that is announced, for example Heathcote Services Club or Gymea Bowls Club. We can arrange lifts there if you need one.
The meetings held in the Lower Hall of the Church on the second and fourth Wednesday of each month commence at 10am, finish about at 1pm and include:-
- Playing various board games;
- Card games;
- Jigsaw puzzles;
- General talk about various subjects.
- Various handicraft activities
Morning tea is available and everyone is also invited to bring a sandwich and stay for lunch and another shared cuppa. We are warm and friendly, and welcome new people.
