When: 3-6pm on Saturday 27th September
Who: locals Malcolm Barnett and Peter Sinclair. Yes, you may have seen them out the front of a classroom back in the day, or crooning way above the surf from the stage at the Scarborough Hotel sometime pre-Covid, and they’re back with a new album with 12 new original songs by Malcolm.
Enjoy the sounds of flute, acoustic guitar and harmonica combined with solid harmony vocals as they bring forth songs of love, faith, loss, family and doubt.
What: Album launch, concert and fundraiser for Wayside Chapel
Where: Engadine Uniting Church, 2 Chipilly Ave, Engadine: in the Lower Hall
How much: $20 will get you in the door, and all of that will go to Wayside Chapel which provides care and support to people on the streets. There will be a yummy afternoon tea provided.
You can buy their new CD for $10, plus previous albums “Turning to Stone” and “only chasing shadows”.
So what are you waiting for? Come along for an afternoon of contemporary acoustic music with Peter (that’s a “P”) and Malcolm (that’s an “M”): there are TWO of them, which naturally makes the duo two pm! Celebrate with them as they launch their latest CD private worlds.
RSVP: Bring your money with you on the day (we will offer a facility to tap, if you have no cash) but drop us a line to let us know how many cups, chairs and cakes to put out. Email admin@engadine.unitingchurch.org.au. Thanks!
