World Day of Prayer

Forty people gathered for this annual ecumenical event in Engadine and Heathcote as we celebrated the World Day of Prayer service together. This year, the service has been prepared by women in Taiwan.

Aboriginal Sunday/Day of Mourning
Event: Sunday 22nd Jan, 2023, at 9am
Join us in recognising Aboriginal Sunday as we Hear the Voices from the Past so together we can walk into the future. Each year the Uniting Church marks this Day of Mourning to reflect on the dispossession of Australia’s First Peoples, and the ongoing in justices faced by them in this land. You are warmly invited us to join us for this special service at the church.
Amnesty Write for Rights

JOINT EVENT with Amnesty Sutherland
The Sutherland branch of Amnesty and the congregation of Engadine Uniting joined together after the church service for morning tea and our annual letter-writing event for human rights.
Affordable Housing Forum
Event date: Tuesday 1st Nov
Time: 7pm-8.30pm
On the first Tuesday in November, 75 people came out in a cold snap to hold powerful people to account over promises they had made, and to urge them on to better leadership that served the community.
Picnic for Nature 2022

Venue: Cooper St Park, Engadine
Engadine Uniting Church is co-hosting this year’s Picnic for Nature with the Nature Conservation Council of NSW. This event is designed to bring people in our community together and celebrate nature.
